Cera Doering has been an educator for over 16 years. Her experience in education has included classroom teacher, math specialist, curriculum specialist, and PK-8 principal.

Cera has supported a network of schools to exceed national standards in math, planned and led district-wide professional development sessions, and written district and state-level curriculum lessons.
She currently leads as principal a Pk-8 school serving over 800 students and has built a robust GAL program, Algebra I program, expanded middle school and arts program, and integrated systems to support academic achievement.
As a mother of children who are gifted and have special needs, she is passionate about making education accessible and meaningful for all students and their learning needs. She is currently pursuing her doctorate at Marymount University.
